Located in Stuttgart Germany this 377 square meters dream home displays a minimalist design defined by straight lines and a constructive use of different building materials. Designed by Alexander Brenner Architects and placed on an almost triangular plot House Heidehof displays an interesting mix of materials on the front facade – wood cladding adorns the large garage doors above which a zebra-resembling pattern is suddenly interrupted by a white-washed second floor.
Flooring is done mostly with wood which helps retain a cool atmosphere inside all round the year. In addition to the basic amenities the house also has a blissful library a neatly furnished office room fireplace greenish bathroom and has plenty of space for all sort of sports.
The ground floor is occupied by the living spaces and kitchen while the second floor shelters the private areas- bedrooms and bathrooms. A rooftop garden completes the green space in the garden and offers a modern eco-friendly feature.
The Brione House is a dream home for those who have always wanted to live in a modern castle. Created by Markus Wespi Jérôme de Meuron Architetti the Brione House is located in Brione sopra Minusio a small town in Switzerland and overlooks the city of Locarno the lake and surrounding mountain scape from its steep high location.
Located in the valley of a huge snowy mountain the house could really be a stand out from the rest. Though it seems poorly furnished it’s not so in reality. It is aptly furnished and has everything a modern civilized family wants. The walls are given a unique texture blended with traditional artifacts and mural paintings. The house is really artistic from floor furs to roof with a feeling of modernity being exhibited everywhere – ranging from bedrooms to bathrooms.
