A couple of years ago Bark Design Architects got a contract to design a building at really vibrant landscape. And when the project was completed it turned out to be a magnificent structure and we now call it the Complex Maleny House.
Ever wondered what a writer’s house would look like? Enticing as a work of fiction right? Indeed it is. This amazing house located in Nova Lima Brazil encompasses all that is imaginative and stands supreme across a 270 square meter area.
Flooring is done mostly with wood which helps retain a cool atmosphere inside all round the year. In addition to the basic amenities the house also has a blissful library a neatly furnished office room fireplace greenish bathroom and has plenty of space for all sort of sports.
Further cooling is provided by wooden paneling given at intervals along the tall walls. The interior looks as wonderful as exterior. Very beautiful and expensive furniture are just another brilliant treat to your eyes. The house gets its design after taking positional environmental and climatic factors into consideration. The designers seem to have taken extra care to provide a good amount of privacy.
A centrally situated atrium covered with a glass roof offers the general design idea – a bright open collection of spaces that promise to offer the family living here many cherished memories. The combined kitchen dining and living room open up to the garden flooding the main living spaces with natural light. Take a look at the details that compose a simple but elegant space arrangement – surely you will find some items worth mentioning.
The ground floor is occupied by the garage and home cinema while the rest of the spaces are split between private and social rooms. Here a mezzanine level features two rooms connected by a living-study opening towards a patio garden. Upstairs occupying the first floor lie the kitchen and dining room while the second floor shelters the bedrooms. Topped off with a pool terrace on the roof the narrow home is surely a successful residential project.
To get an urban feel slide- stalk doors were placed at its interface of interior and exterior. Interior designing for the house was done by M Square Lifestyle Necessities. They were keen on balancing furniture and artwork for getting a blend of contemporary and traditional interiors. Wooden and leather furniture deployed in this building further increased the natural outlook.
