If you are on a visit to Israel by any chance try and spare a few hours to travel to Ramat-Hasharon. Here stands a house that upholds the value of simplicity and modernity. With grey oak and glass predominantly having gone into the construction along with concrete the DG House is one example of architectural awesomeness. This beautiful residence designed by DOMB Architects sports two separate blocks of different dimensions.
The lot is located at a dead-end region of street and at its back rest a public park. The kitchen has been maintained as a public place while the dining room is also spacious enough to contain a large Israeli family. There are separate bedrooms for kids and parents which are now common in contemporary residences.
Sydney is a favorite destination for people who love to become a part of Australia’s unbelievable blend of seasons. The MPR Design Group was right when they zeroed in on this location for the which overlook the city and marvelous beach lying close to it. The project includes twin buildings completed in two levels. The site offers an irresistible view to the summer sky and opens up to a wonderful vision to urban Sydney.
The Swiss architecture studio created two cubes emerging from the hill caressed by natural light on the inside through cavities and open courtyards. Extensive use of wood in furniture and window frames especially in the kitchen and bedroom soften the hard edges of the stone walls and warm up the atmosphere.
The exteriors appear to have well separated from interior compared to contemporary western houses. The Mop house has got enough space to contain a family of four or five. Seems to offer a wonderful visual treat once you set your eyes on this contemporary residence.
Everything is well balanced even with the oversized furniture (see that huge office table) and the bold art work in the dining room. Speaking of the open dining space the 10-person dining set grabs the eye as it’s stunningly illuminated by a series of cube pendants. Even more fascinating are the rays of the rising and setting sun flow in similar pattern into the dining room.
The house sports the looks of a box that is slightly bent and fully transparent. The house reveals a careful and rigorous treatment of a bent and cut volume without dropping the elements of the charm. By day time you will get to see the landscape of the valley behind the house. The house includes four bedrooms dining room and a kitchen and also sports as many as six gardens.
