This is a unique structure with a significant portion made to float above the ground. The environment surrounding this house is really calm and tranquil giving a wonderful view to the landscape lying ahead of it. The designers have intentionally selected large glass panels for windows and doors for unobstructed view to the surrounding greenery.
Barcelona-based architecture studio Ferrolan LAB designed a small narrow and long residential structure used by a family as their permanent residence. Measuring 12 feet by 82 feet the contemporary home located in Barcelona Spain challenged the architects to construct a comfortable vertically designed collection of spaces.
To get an urban feel slide- stalk doors were placed at its interface of interior and exterior. Interior designing for the house was done by M Square Lifestyle Necessities. They were keen on balancing furniture and artwork for getting a blend of contemporary and traditional interiors. Wooden and leather furniture deployed in this building further increased the natural outlook.
Located in Stuttgart Germany this 377 square meters dream home displays a minimalist design defined by straight lines and a constructive use of different building materials. Designed by Alexander Brenner Architects and placed on an almost triangular plot House Heidehof displays an interesting mix of materials on the front facade – wood cladding adorns the large garage doors above which a zebra-resembling pattern is suddenly interrupted by a white-washed second floor.
Located in Spain in the heart of a pine forest this white building offers celestial views that are certain to make you drool. Created by AABE and dubbed the the theme of the house is to prove that large is better — obviously considering that the designer thinks that proportions these day come as key in the modern design of the house.
The owner’s demand was to create an urban touch to this age-old house and the architects started working on the single- storey residence with four bedrooms. Initially they divided the entire area into private and public spaces separated by a fairly large pool. A long bridge serves as the connection between public and private spaces.
