The owner’s demand was to create an urban touch to this age-old house and the architects started working on the single- storey residence with four bedrooms. Initially they divided the entire area into private and public spaces separated by a fairly large pool. A long bridge serves as the connection between public and private spaces.
Maleny in Australia is home to sub-tropical climate with intermittent cool winter and warm summer. The place has got another remarkable landmark in the form of a building the. A couple of years ago Bark Design Architects got a contract to design a building at really vibrant landscape. And when the project was completed it turned out to be a magnificent structure and we now call it the Complex Maleny House.
The house sports the looks of a box that is slightly bent and fully transparent. The house reveals a careful and rigorous treatment of a bent and cut volume without dropping the elements of the charm. By day time you will get to see the landscape of the valley behind the house. The house includes four bedrooms dining room and a kitchen and also sports as many as six gardens.
You can see an adult children’s room which is not very common designed like a “mini suite” with separate bathroom. A dedicated space has been provided for entertainment at the basement. You also have a screening room fitness facilities a Billiards table as well as an intimate studio in there.
On the upper floor the large glass windows provide a perfect view from the bedroom which is kept simple in its design. A classy bathroom with a bath tub and pendant light on the ceiling are the other features on the upper floor.
The down floor features a living area a bedroom and a kitchen. The living area is occupied with simple colored sofas and glass vessels.
