The Brione House is a dream home for those who have always wanted to live in a modern castle. Created by Markus Wespi Jérôme de Meuron Architetti the Brione House is located in Brione sopra Minusio a small town in Switzerland and overlooks the city of Locarno the lake and surrounding mountain scape from its steep high location.
Designed by architect Desmond Ong on a minimalist concept the Singapore residence has had its wall removed so as to provide the feel of open space. It is light airy and seemingly spacious. By avoiding bulky interiors and furniture the design has been given a sense of added openness. Usage of light colors and large glass windows gives also adds to large space outlook. The bedrooms and the bathroom designs are kept very simple while the open glass windows provide fro a green view outside.
Long glass windows provide natural sunlight. A beautiful garden with pebbles on the pavement has everything in it to catch your attention. And wouldn’t you say that the lighting system is remarkable too? We’re completely sold folks.
The front room includes the living dining and kitchen area. A beautifully designed storage space on the wall provides ample space for a television stand bookshelf and a modern fireplace. The modern kitchen with simple furniture a four-seated dining table light colored sofa carpet and hanging lights add to the elegance.
On the upper floor the large glass windows provide a perfect view from the bedroom which is kept simple in its design. A classy bathroom with a bath tub and pendant light on the ceiling are the other features on the upper floor.
